Drain Cleaning – Ensure Your Water is Flowing Properly
‘Last updated: January 18, 2017‘ Many people do not consider drain cleaning until an emergency occurs. After a few years, drains begin to clog with debris that goes down them. Think about all the stuff that goes down your sinks, toilets, and shower drains. These drains are used several times a day. Over the years, they are bound to clog, unless someone at home periodically cleans them. Even so, they will not be as clean as they should be. Here are a few reasons your drains need to be cleaned:
The most obvious sign you need to get drain cleaning is the water from one or several fixtures is not flowing as smooth as it once did. Sometimes the clog might be close to the fixture inside the drain. In these cases, it is possible to get some tools or chemicals from your local hardware store to take care of this problem. But most clogged drains are not taken care of this easily. Most of the time the clog is deeper in the plumbing system. If the water does not flow as smooth as it once did, it’s time to call a plumber to unclog your drains.
If you are not sure when you had your last drains cleaning, if ever, it is a good indication that it is time to call someone to clean your drains. As mentioned before, many people do not call someone until there is a problem with their plumbing. Ensuring your drains are clean is a great way of preventing an emergency from happening. Just as you maintain your car with oil and coolant changes, your house needs to be taken care of as well. Every year or two years, drain cleaning should be done.
There are a couple of drain cleaning methods that are most commonly used by our experienced plumbers. The first is called drain snaking. As you may have speculated, it is basically a metal cable that feeds into your drain, breaking up the clog and removing debris to allow water to flow more smoothly. In many cases, a camera is sent into the drain to find the clog before the snake is sent to unclog the drain. Our plumbing video camera inspection service is non-invasive and an extremely efficient method for identifying issues.
The second most used drain cleaning method is called hydro-jetting. Hydro-jetting is a bit more of a specialized technique. Again as the name implies, a special pipe is inserted into the drain that is thought to be clogged. Very highly pressured water shoots out of the pipe, blasting away all the debris clogged inside. This is the most effective method of drain cleaning.

Our Plumbing Services
Some past clients we’ve had the opportunity to work for:
There are several plumbers out there. Many have experience. So why choose us over everyone else? Here are a few reasons:
No Hourly Charges – Many customers do not see the advantages of having a plumber who does not work by the hour. A plumber who works on a fixed price has no reason to stick around after the job is finished to ensure he gets paid more. Even if the job takes more time than required, you still pay the same amount.
No Overtime or Extra Charges – As advertised, we are a 24/7 Emergency Plumbing Service and so we don’t charge “extra” or “overtime” fees because we have to come to your house after normal working hours, weekends, or even on holidays.
Upfront, Exact Pricing – Every job we do has a set price shown in our price book. We go through with you exactly what the scope of the work will be to fix your problem and the costs involved. You know before we start what the final price will be -no surprises!
Rapid Response Times – A highly efficient dispatch team coupled with local emergency plumbers means when you call with an emergency, you won’t have to wait long before a technician is at your doorstep ready to fix the problem.
Local Plumbers – There is no sense in calling a plumbing service that is in another city. It’ll take that much longer to respond to your call and you run the risk of additional fuel charges. We have local plumbers in all major city centers across the GTA that can respond to your emergency quickly.
Fully Loaded Work Trucks – When time is of the essence with your plumbing emergency, the last thing you want to hear is “ah we don’t have the part in the truck, I’ll have to go back to the shop…”. A fully inventoried truck is crucial so that your problem can not only be diagnosed quickly, but fixed quickly as well.
